GREENLINE™ · THE NEXT CHAPTERNOTE 7 · QUESTIONS

QUESTIONS.

Questions finance teams ask.

Straight answers on scope, auditors, migration and data. If yours is not here, bring it to a demonstration.

NOTE 7

Questions.

Seventeen questions in four groups. Where an answer depends on your company, it says so, and says who decides.

7.1

Scope.

(a)Which countries does GREENLINE support?
Saudi Arabia first. ZATCA e-invoicing, the VAT return and the zakat declaration follow Saudi requirements. For other GCC and MENA countries we assess the reporting framework, tax and e-invoicing requirements before we commit to scope. Until then you can join the country-interest list when you book.
(b)Which reporting framework does it apply?
Full IFRS® Accounting Standards as endorsed in the Kingdom by SOCPA. If you report under IFRS for SMEs today, GREENLINE prepares the move to full IFRS Accounting Standards under IFRS 1. The framework that applies to your company is confirmed with you and your auditor.
(c)Is GREENLINE approved by ZATCA?
Being listed in ZATCA's solution-providers directory is not an approval of a solution, and we do not describe GREENLINE as approved. GREENLINE produces Phase 2 invoices: UBL XML with the cryptographic stamp, QR code and hash chain. Each taxpayer onboards its own e-invoicing units to ZATCA's FATOORA platform, which runs its compliance checks before go-live. We confirm the supported invoice types and integration status with you first.
(d)Can it replace our current ERP?
GREENLINE is built to be your full accounting system. Whether it replaces yours is settled in a scoped workshop: we map your workflows, data and integrations against supported scope and write down the exceptions before any proposal.
(e)Which languages does it use?
Arabic and English throughout, with right-to-left layouts, and statements and returns in both languages.
(f)Does GREENLINE calculate our local content score?
It prepares the entity-level calculation in the template of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority from your books, with the evidence behind each component, and tracks the local content each government contract has promised. The score is certified by an audit firm on the Authority's approved list and approved by the Authority. See Note 2.6.
7.2

Auditors and advisers.

(a)Does GREENLINE replace our auditor, actuary or advisers?
No. It applies the rules, proposes the entries and keeps the records. Accounting judgments stay with your team, the audit opinion with your auditor, IAS 19 assumptions with your actuary, and listing eligibility with your advisers, the CMA and the Saudi Exchange.
(b)Will our auditor agree with numbers prepared in GREENLINE?
No system can promise that. GREENLINE gives your team and your auditors a shared framework and records that support review: the standard behind each entry, and who prepared, reviewed and approved it. Your auditor's conclusions remain independent.
(c)Can GREENLINE make us IPO ready?
GREENLINE provides capabilities that support IPO preparation: the reporting, the records and the controls. Your advisers assess eligibility and the wider requirements. In a demonstration we identify which of your records, controls and reports the software can support. See Note 3, Path to listing.
7.3

Implementation and data.

(a)How does migration work?
We record the source data, the mappings, the cleaning, the opening balances and the reconciliation evidence. A representative period is tested, and you approve before go-live. We agree which historical records migrate and how retained records stay available.
(b)How long does implementation take?
It depends on scope, the condition of your data and your integrations. We quote a schedule after the scoped workshop, not before.
(c)Who is responsible for what?
GREENLINE owns the software and the agreed support. Your company owns its source data and its accounting decisions, unless a separate service is contracted.
(d)Where is our data hosted?
In a cloud region inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The provider and region are named in your customer agreement, which also sets out data ownership, export, retention, deletion, sub-processors and the return of your data at exit.
(e)How is access controlled?
Sign-in by e-mail code and an authenticator app. Roles separate who prepares, who reviews and who approves. Every sign-in, role change, adjustment and close is logged.
(f)Is GREENLINE certified, for example under ISO/IEC 27001?
No certification is claimed. GREENLINE's compliance module helps your company prepare for ISO and NCA requirements; certification is granted by an accredited body after its own audit.
7.4

Commercial.

(a)How is GREENLINE priced?
A recurring subscription for the software, with implementation scoped and priced separately. We price from the supported scope after discovery, and we do not publish list prices yet.
(b)We are a CPA or advisory firm. Can we partner?
Yes. We are building referral and delivery partnerships with CPA and advisory firms, on documented terms that cover who sells, implements, supports and owns the client relationship. Choose the partner route when you book.
