FOUNDER'S STATEMENT

Portrait of Shady Emara

Shady Emara, CPA

Founder of GREENLINE. U.S. Certified Public Accountant and member of SOCPA. More than seventeen years leading finance teams in the GCC.

I have spent my career on the other side of the screen.

Closing the month. Answering the auditor. Rebuilding a schedule late at night because the system could not explain why a balance had moved. Most ERPs record what happened. Very few know what the standards require. The gap between the two is where finance teams lose their evenings, and where companies lose the confidence of their auditors, their boards and, one day, their shareholders.

GREENLINE starts from the standard. Every posting is checked before it reaches the ledger. At period end the system measures what IFRS® Accounting Standards require: the expected credit loss, the end-of-service obligation, the revenue earned on each contract, the zakat due. It proposes the exact entry. A period does not close while a rule is still open. The VAT return, the zakat declaration and the e-invoices come from the same books, in ZATCA's structure.

I built it the way a CPA would want it built. Every figure can be traced to its source. Every change is written to a record that cannot be quietly rewritten. Every return is approved by someone other than the person who prepared it. These are not features added at the end. They are where the design began.

Across the GCC, growing companies are preparing for full IFRS Accounting Standards and for the capital market. Their finance teams deserve a system that understands that journey as well as they do. That is the next chapter, and GREENLINE is written for it.

If you lead a finance team that holds itself to that standard, I would be glad to hear from you.
